As I listened to that CD…I could see, how each song might play out in the movie
Only time will tell, if I am right
Is the CD pampering myself? No, not really, but after reading the book and listening to the CD, I will bet, that the movie in my mind, is going to be much better than the movie itself
And I can;t help but wonder, is it perhaps,that any of Twilight movies, will never live up to a woman’s expectation, simply, because, we are all Bella….and Edward, is that ordinary man, we brush up against in a High school hallway or in a coffee shop, where we have stopped before dropping off children to school

inspirational work meetings…you know the ones….the ones where they pretend to be soo interested, in you…only to ask you at the end of the day to stay and work 4 more hours…
the topic of this inspritional Monday morning..Please describe how you feel about yourself to your team mates…wow, now that’s a great way to start a Monday isn’t it? I heard so many things, that played so well into company hands,,”trustworthy..hard working, dependable” ..when i came my turn..I simply said..”A beautiful disaster” Now I know, most of them thought it meant I stood in the mirror for hours on end, checking out how great I looked (ya right), only to suck for 8 hours a day at my job..but the truth is,,I am that beautiful disaster….I own her, that beautiful part is her personality….the one that speaks her mind, accepts her mistakes, and every beautiful day, she grows..

pampering for “free” even better! BuzzAgent pulled through, again! What fun to receive two packages in the mail…one containing the new decorative Bug latern from Off…the other containing CoverGirls new age defying makeup (full size I might add) all for filling out a simple survey..all for free!

in the ICU waiting room….I read the Sunday paper, someone had graciously, left…watched the news and waited…....
I had seen this coming actually….so I really had no reason to feel sorry for myself..he waited too long..he again, drank too much..brought on this episode, that medication, could not clear up this time..but, really, what I mostly did was think…about us…..that amazingly, when things are good with us,health, finances, we do not work well, together…...but in the darkest hours…..when we, are so, fragile..all those differences that we thought we had….all those fights…...seem to disappear..as I walk into your hospital room, holding on tightly to our 7 year old daughters hand…..

To all you women, who are mom’s
To all the aunt’s, that so lovingly offer to take their nieces and nephews to the zoo, while the could be at the mall, alone
To the female friends, that watched us make countless blunders with our children…and wisely said little, expect….”don’t worry, you’ll have days like this..”

Who know that the Sheraton would be hosting a knitting convention? I never knew knitters even had conventions, but apparently they do! And these woman, were hardcore knitters! They were not your grandma’s knitters…oh no, not these women! They were armed, with the longest, shinnest, pointiest, knitting needles, I have ever seen in my life and they weren’t afraid to use them! They were everywhere, with those dangerous weapons in their hands..in the lobby, at the pool, some even drank a wine while knitting!
Next time, if there is ever going to be a next, I’ll certainly call ahead….”I’d like reservations for next Saturday night, unless your having a knitting convention.”

As luck would have it, I won an overnight stay at the Sheraton on the Super Bowl Board! They were kind enough to let us use it on Valentine’s Day! What a luxury! The Sheraton is one stop shopping, in my opinion…food, drinks,whirpool and sleep all under the same roof! I hate to say it, but I am am Really looking forward to the sleep part! True sign of old age….I think, I will feel more like my old self, once I come back…the sweet smell of escape is in the air!

while attempting, to do massive amounts of Overtime from home…It has been frustrating at best..
So tonight, I bought, a really good candle, that made the entire room smell like fresh baked apple pie, found all my Christmas CD’s and it went much better…....So, I will try to keep in mind pampering is not limited to nails, hair and facials, but to surroundings

today…I am facing endless hours of overtime, but I factored in the promise I made to myself…I kept up with my face routine, my nails….took a short nap….and read for 30 minutes….......
Happily I found a moisturizer that always gives you a bit of a suntan glow…well, who could ask for more!
I need to maintain a balance…..which I think I did today…
I felt much better when I worked my Overtime today…...
I am going to maintain that balance throughout the weekend, realizing I have other obligations than work, factor in my sons college break, my mom’s need for work transportation…so I will alot the lowest amount..and than if it turns out to be more, so much the better!

but it does not have to be extravagant or expensive….I mean little things, like drinking more water for skin hydration, using a moisturizer every single night, getting 8 hours of sleep, set boundaries when it comes to over time at work..Definately set Over time boundaries at work…..this is crucial, I can’t feel the pressure that they applied to me last year..in the long run I got really sick and ended up not coming out ahead financially on top in the long run….
I will still dye my own hair, cut my own hair, grow my nails long nails verses fake,
It doesn’t have to cost much, it just has to be important to me
