redecorate my house

he is a really nice kid. He’s about 30, looks about 20. First time homeowner and appears to be a very hard worker. His parents live out of state and hence why I think when he sees me now, he greets me by saying “Hi, Mamma, how was your day?” Occasionally, he’ll knock on the back door, in a panic, asking me if groundmeat left out over night will kill his new girlfriend if he makes her chilli….
The last knock pertained to a broken chainsaw…I couldn’t fix it, but my husband had it back up and running, in about ten minutes…
Than there was the morning apology, for the Bachelor party he hosted at his home….hoping his guests were not so loud..I have kids, your friends don’t annoy me if my kids don’t annoy you..
A group of us were outside last night, enjoying the last bit of summer weather, and talking about our favorite movies..
He said “You like James Dean?”
“Yeah, I love him”
“I’ll be back”
He run across the street and returned with the hugest, most wonderful framed photo of James Dean….black and white
“Here, it’s your’s”
What a great addition, it is making to my living room!
I not only love the picture, but I found the jester very sweet.
His parents should be very proud, of this nice young man they raised!

Just “clean” the house for today..undoubtedly, it will Look like its been redecorated, once I am able to see the floor again!

I sat on my porch the other night and listened intently as my neighbor, talked endlessly, about his job loss. It’s not that I minded, he has a new baby on the way, a house payment and a band new SUV…part of me wanted to say..”life comes at you fast!” Instead, I offered suggestions of places and organizations that can help him, obtain insurance for his family, the ins and outs of the unemployment world…
This morning there was a knock on my door
“I have this bookcase, solid wood, we just bought it a few months ago…but we are furnishing the Nursey and it just doesn’t work in there. Would you like it?”
And although I offered to pay him for it, he flatly refused…
I now have a lovely place to display my dolls!

So I got really tired, of waiting for myself to go to the local “Dollar General” and pick up frames for my pictures….so, I just hit the print button…and tacked each one of those memories to the wall..a huge collage..completely frameless

Ok I moved from a house to an apartment…ugh “redecorating has cost me about $100 worth of garbage bags! No More Dollar Stores!
I owned more McDonald Happy Meal Toys than McDonalds themself..time to throw, throw, throw…...Oh, the seperation anxiety is already starting to get to me!

Cleaning the house may actually cure my need to redecorate the house. Wow Look there is last years Christmas present from my mom under that huge stack of the newspapers! It is working already!
