make a detailed list of reasons why stephen is adorable

A little while ago Stephen was lying in bed while I was reading and he was asleep. I was sitting up. He came over to my side of the bed and clutched my leg with his head next to my lap and put one leg over mine, kind of like how people would sleep with a body pillow. It was so sweet!

I love this man.

- I love how he is so sweet to me all the time. He always lets me be myself and he never judges me. He just laughs and lets me be crazy and irrational, and when I act totally stupid he helps me come back down to earth and be normal. When I feel bad he does everything humanly possible to try and make me feel better. He never seems to get tired of doing that. Most people would probably get sick of it after a while, but he seems to actually enjoy the process at times. I think he likes to feel like he’s doing something. He really does help me so much. I think knowing how much I appreciate his love and his help is what makes him continue to do it, which is so amazing. I never imagined that someone would love me that much.

- He is my best friend. I really could never be myself with anyone else as much as I am with him. I mean, I have super close girlfriends and stuff that I have told my deepest and darkest secrets to, but I can do those things with Stephen as well. Plus we live together and it seems like we never get sick of each other, whereas with a girlfriend we would probably get tired of each other eventually. We enjoy doing so many things together and we understand each other so well. We have our own way of speaking to each other and behaving with each other when no one else is around that probably no one else would understand. I love all our inside jokes and quirky little things we do. Even though I’m sure lots of people have that with their own relationships, I feel like ours are more special because they are just for us… and its personal…

- I looove waking up with him! Waking up is more fun than going to sleep! He is so cuddly and sweet! Not many guys are all that into the cuddliness! He loves it though. Any excuse he can find to be close to me he uses, and I am the same way. We are very touchy touchy all the time. We practically follow each other all over the house (me more than him tho) just to be near each other. I crave the way his skin feels. I love his smell and his voice. While he was gone it was heartbreaking to be alone in bed and in the apartment, and now that he’s home I can’t get enough.

I haven’t started this but I kept meaning to. For some reason we have been fighting a lot and I want to make this list to help remind me about why he is perfect for me, and why I love him so much. I know its sad that sometimes we need reminders, but no one is perfect.

First off, isn’t he cute? He’s adorable! He’s so funny and sweet and handsome. His smile is my favorite thing in the world. I am addicted to it. I love to make him laugh. He has a good laugh.

He is also very sweet. He is really sensitive and emotional, which is not something that most guys show. I think it takes an even stronger man to show their emotions than one who tries to cover them up with a macho facade. He isn’t a crybaby or anything, and he is definitely manly, but when he misses me he says he misses me, and when he is sad he says he’s sad. I like that.

He forgives me when I mess up. He doesn’t put restrictions on our love, and he doesn’t believe that we should ever give up on each other. He believes in forgiveness and hard work, with understanding and patience in order for our relationship to flourish. He wants us to flourish, and not be mediocre. He really wants us to be the best we can be, and not settle for just a little bit of happiness. We both want butterflies in our stomachs. I love that he wants us to stay squishy and giddy in love.
