learn to cook better

I got a cookbook for Christmas, now I just have to find the time to actually make something.

I haven’t done much with this one either, unless watching my mom make lasagna and nodding as she showed me each step is progress. My problem is I don’t have the time, money or patience to cook what I’d like to.

The other day I was trying to think of something to make for lunch because I was getting tired of the same old frozen pizzas, macaroni and cheese, etc. I decided I wanted spaghetti, which I’ve never made for myself before. It turned out really well, I was so happy! I feel a little more confident in my cooking abilities now, but I still need some work.

I guess I need to just look in a cookbook for something I’ve never made before and try it.
