Just a few clicks, and it was done.
It’s hard to believe all these months of frugal living have finally come to fruition: I am back to zero!
From now on, every dollar I earn belongs to me to do with what I will!
Six more weeks of hellacious work hours, as I try to amass enough for a down payment on a vehicle that will get me affordable monthly payments.
Im going to work one job over the summer, and then work like mad again during the coming school year to pay off the car, and begun to save for a home of my own.
10 months on, two months off… I can do this!

I’m having trouble believing it, but I ran the numbers three times to make sure… I really, actually, do have that much money to send off to the credit card!
Gosh, I wish I had it to spend, but I already spent it before I earned it, so that’s that!
When the payment has been processed, I will owe less than $1500.
It’s amazing what happens when I put my mind to it!

I’ve been out sick for over a week and a half, so when a full-day assignment came up for Saturday, I jumped on it!
I’m going to miss out on a pre-paid, non-transferable massage that I got at half-price (hence the pre-paid, non-transferable part), but that comes out to less than one hour’s pay, and so I have decided to eat the loss.
And, I’m almost embarrassed to admit this, but I am finally sending out an invoice for a job I did two months ago: $550! I left that money langushing around like I’m a Rockefeller or something! Boy oh boy, will that come in handy!
It will all feel so good when I have no more credit card debt in the Summertime!!!

I’m not incurring any more CC debt, so the return credit came to my checking acct via my debit card.
Immediately sent $10 of it to the CC… I’m making a handful of nickel-and-dime payments throughout the month, in addition to the big paycheck-time ones, and they really add up!

About once a month, I do a little side gig for $40 cash money. It’s on a Friday night, and the money’s usually gone by Monday. I couldn’t even tell you what I did with it.
Yesterday, I realized that that little side gig puts nearly $500/year in my pocket, and goes totally unaccounted for.
Today, I sent a $10 payment to the CC.

In an effort to get out of debt as quickly as possible, I’m not contributing to savings right now.
So in the spirit of “pay yourself first,” I sent a $150 payment straight to the credit card.
Anything that’s left over after expenses will also go straight to the card, but at least this bit’s out of the way.

I just sold my bed (I had 2) for $250 on craigslist.
The guys drove off with it not 5 minutes ago, and here’s what I did:
I came right upstairs and transferred $60 into the savings account where I park 1/4 of all my income to go toward housing (rent, furniture, moving expenses, whatever). Doing it that way keeps me from freaking out about the rent when work slows down.
I put the remaining $190 towards my credit card debt.
Probably, the original cost of the bed is part of my balance. Ashes to ashes…

I’m getting a bit of unbudgeted money tomorrow: $250 for the sale of a bedframe that I bought only last lear for more than double that.
I know I should put it all towards debt, but I am tempted to spend half on a massage, which I could really use.
sigh
I suupose the best thing is to get out of debt as quickly as possible, and then all the unplanned-for money that comes my way could be used for fun. Although then I would put some in savings, and wrestle with the same dilemma… hee, hee.
Maybe I’ll just get a pedicure, which costs less than a massage, Then I’ll feel pampered and have pretty feet, too!

I’ve knocked it down another thousand dollars in the past month, in spite of the the expensive move, the impromptu weekend getaway, the $300 worth of new (ahem, larger) clothing.
Imagine how much I’ll be able to do in April, when I’m observing a “buy nothing” month.
I have three thousand left, and I’m starting to get excited!
