become a certified sexological bodyworker

It looks like they’re a tad overwhelmed & disorganized up there, because the response was: “We’re all set for May, but maybe in October?”

My original inquiry had been for October!

But they said to check back in June, and I certainly will!

I don’t know what got into me, but there is an event happening in October that I’ve done before, so on a whim, I sent an e-mail to the organizers asking if they might need a TA.

Gotta start somewhere…

I can already see that there is too much going on in 2008.

2009 it is.

Who knows several people that have done this. She may put me in touch with them, or it may just serve as a signpost that I’m on the right track.

I would love to do this next summer. Let’s see what happens, shall we?

Exciting, no?

I’m looking at 2009.

The tuition is expensive, and it would require a lot of time off of work, which I’ll need to save up for.

Unless a windfall happens, which I won’t rule out!!

It’s all good, though, because there is no hurry.

All right, I have placed a library hold on one of the books that are required reading for the program: The Erotic Mind, by Jack Morin.

Groovy.

In California (naturally!) you can actually become a certified sexological bodyworker!

The program takes several weeks and costs about $3,000, so it will be a while before I get to it, but once I’ve accomplished some of my other financial goals, I’ll set up an account to start saving for this.

Meanwhile, the program was kind enough to post their required reading materials online, so I can start collecting the books and videos as inexpensively as possible: Amazon, e-bay, and libraries!

I don’t have to wait to go school to start getting educated!
