to rule out ms and the like. Not that that’ll change the fact that there’s no real way to treat any of these things.
Gotta do more tai ji, i’ve been slacking off, been a little down, proabbaly pms.
just after a visit from my in-laws. I think it was a combination of emotional and physical stress (I overdid it trying to entertain them and my nephew, going to 2 or 3 “field trips” a day with the kids, I can usually barely manage one every other day). So once again I get another reminder from my body to pace myself. I spent a week in intense pain after they left, started taking lots of Black Cohosh (helps with fibromyalgia, as an anti-spasmodic), and it worked great. I’m down to 1 or 2 dropperfuls a day to keep the pain away, was doing a dropperful every 15 miutes for the first few days.
sometimes I think that’s the main reason I have it, to learn to focus on myself. It’s amazing how much better I feel if I actually keep this up for any length of time. Things I haven’t done: seen my acupuncturist, get vit B-12 and Mg shots (helps so much with fatigure and pain), order cordyceps (Chinese herbal tonic), do moxa on myself (great for energy and pain), give myself alone time without kids and hubby. And allow myself pain meds once a week, 5-6 advil make me feel great, but don’t want ot end up on dialysis . . . so once a week should give me a boost to do things I sometimes can’t, like get out of the house with the kids.
OK, I need to get on it, maybe I should start by making a doctor’s appointment. And I have been better at pacing myself, it’s so tempting to over-do once I start to feel good. Slow and steady, and baby steps.
