Is there a method? — 2 years ago
I need a structure or framework for doing this. If I were learning to ice skate or juggle, there would be a framework, a method, a set of steps to follow. I wouldn’t get it the first time, I would make mistakes, I might get frustrated and feel like I’m not making progress. But at least I would have the structure to fall back on to keep me going. If I were learning something more abstract, like how to paint or how to be an actor, the structure and method would be more abstract, but it would still be there to fall back on. I would still have something I could put my trust in. I need to find a similar structure or method for loving myself and feeling confident and at peace. I feel like I’m just winging it and when I feel down, I don’t have anything to fall back on.
