Right now I live in Austin, TX which is simply amazing. It’s affordable, the people are SUPER friendly, and there’s lots going on – it’s a very active city, people are out and about. If it’s missing anything, those things would be:
1. a temperate climate
I have also lived in the Bay area which is San Francisco and Berkeley to those who are unfamiliar. I much prefer Berkeley as it is a college town and reminds me of Austin. I also very much enjoyed Flagstaff (another college town) and have come to realize that I enjoy college or university towns because they are generally more accepting of alternative lifestyles.
I have yet to live in Fayetteville, AR but have heard that it is ranked the #1 most livable city by Forbes magazine. I would love to spend time in:
1) Providence, RI
2) Tucson, AZ
3) Boulder, CO
4) Santa Cruz, CA
