List 100 things I love about my husband.

I love to hear him laughing at something on TV when I’m here on the computer.

Once to get stitches in my eyelid & once because I had appendicitis. And everytime I hurt myself a little or get a pain, he says, “oh no, here we go again!” It’s our little joke.

He meant towelette wipes, but his Southern accent made it sound like toilet wipes. The waitress & I just started laughing & then I had to translate. I love his accent.

He cooks them perfectly. My parents were even impressed when he cooked for them. He’ll throw a little sweet potato & broccoli on the side. Yum, yum!

My grandma says mean things about everyone behind their backs, even me. So when my parents told me she was giving J high praises after our visits I couldn’t believe it! How did he do it? She loves him.

Today he took me to the circus because I wanted to go. He’s also gone to an awful lot of girly movies & my friend’s kids birthday parties & craft stores, etc.

And he was the only member. I just love thinking about him when he was a little kid. He must have been so cute!

He’ll often get up early on weekends & make something wonderful for breakfast. Sometimes he brings it up to me in bed & other times, when I follow the smells into the kitchen before he’s done, he’ll just bring it to me on a platter while I lounge in front of the TV & tell him he’s the best husband in the whole world. :) Yesterday morning he brought me toast with hearts cut in the middle & he had cooked an egg in each one.

Most nights he falls asleep while I’m still reading. And at some point he’ll roll over & say something totally off the wall…expecting me to answer like I have a clue what he’s talking about. I always start laughing & the next second he’s snoring again. Amazing!

After all my shady dating relationships of the past, I should not be able to trust any man. And yet, I trust J wholeheartedly because he’s proved himself. Not that I went about asking him to do so. He just has, all on his own, in the little things he says & does. I love him for that.
