I have been to Venice twice-the second time, on the way out, I told myself to calm down so I wouldn’t be disappointed, nothing is quite as beautiful as you remember it etc and then I got there…and it was MORE beautiful than I had remembered-this place makes me believe in the beauty and ingenuity of mankind. I wish I was there.
