My last entry was over a year and a half ago, and I’ve managed to yo-yo up and down and up and down…and now up to my heaviest weight EVER…
I just graduated college, and now that things are hopefully going to becoming more routine, I think I can finally do this and not get sidetracked, or whatever the problem was before. I think the hardest thing was that food is such a social event for me. I was always having dinners to attend or there were functions to attend with food. Good food. But, now that a lot of my friends have gone home, and that I’m looking into moving, I’m on my own for dinners and cutting out the overly social aspect.
So, I went back to LA Weight Loss last week. When I was on the program, I did really well. I figure I’ll try it again. I’m a couple days in so far I haven’t screwed up yet. I’m going in tomorrow to weigh-in, so hopefully I’ll have some good results.
I’ve also joined the YMCA and have been going there regularly. I think I felt too self-conscious at the gym at my school and so I would never go. But I like the Y, so hopefully I’ll stay on the right track.

Ugh. OK, so I’ve been off my program for a long while. With moving and classes starting back up, things have been hectic, but that’s really not an excuse. I went to Erie to weigh-in like 3 weeks ago and I had gained about 7 pounds back. I’m up to about 200.
It’s depressing, really, but I figure if I start back up I can drop at least 15 by the time my family sees me at Christmas, being my total to around 35 pounds lost. Not what I was hoping for at all, considering when I started in May I expected to have lost all 80 something, but 35 is better than 0.
OK, so this hasn’t been going well at all. I’ve been completely off-track for about a month now. I need to go to my weightloss place in Erie and see how much I’ve gained back and just suck it up and get back on the program.
I guess every once and awhile I’ll have to deal with setbacks.

Things seems to be going slowly. The holidays were hard…Lot of drinking and eating out. Now, I’m back on track so hopefully things will go better. At least I passed the 20 pounds mark. :D
