really makes this goal an essential part of non-stressful living.
i’ve been working on clearing out one of the back rooms and so far so good. i have no idea what to do with the piano however. why do pianos have to take up so much space? how did i accumulate so many sheets and towels? and what does one do with old unused luggage that doesn’t fit under a bed? VCR anyone?
i suppose this is where i log into my inactive freecycle group and try to hawk my stuff.

for the library tomorrow. i’m happy to report that 10 of the 12 books I dropped off last time found new homes.
we also successfully got rid of some other larger household items – furniture to be exact – earlier this week. no thanks to me really, but i was glad to see it go all the same.

a dozen books at the library today when I go to return some books. I intend to repeat this action weekly until I’ve whittled my home library down to at least one room, and possibly to just one large bookcase.
