...and couldn’t help noticing all the cool bikes around the place—it reminded me of this goal in fact. Not sure how this fits in with some of the other goals I have ($$$), but it’s certainly been on my mind.

I was originally thinking of something like a Honda CBR250, but after speaking to a colleague yesterday (who rides a BIG Suzuki 1000 sports bike), something like a Kawasaki GPX250 might be more appropriate to learn riding skills on. He had one as a first bike: “hard to kill” was the general idea (much like my first car, which I certainly DID try to kill!). I seem to remember one of my sisters had a GPX250 too…

At any rate, maybe, just maybe if I get a bike, I’ll be able to wean myself off having a sportscar as a daily driver. I really like my car, even after 5 years plus, but it definitely is overkill for what I need…

...I’m 100% set on this one, for various reasons, but it is something I’ve thought about from time to time, what with most of my friends and even my sisters having ridden at one stage or another.

Putting this one up as a tentative for now. Maybe I’ll get one of these one day & turn one sister’s partner green with envy. ;)
