So close but so far.... 3 years ago

I was in Japan last weekend, but Fuji was closed. So even though I am skilled at winter mountaineering, I was told I would get arrested if I tried to climb it. The Japanese are sticklers for the rules. The best I could do is a picture from the bullet train. I’ll try to schedule a trip again next summer.
