have more adventures

I had to go to the hospital downtown today….they had to do an ultrasound on my leg to make sure I didn’t have a blood clot. I’m still bandaged up and on crutches, so no driving for me. So I asked my grandmother to drive me.

If you’ve ever seen my 81-year-old grandma drive…you’d completely understand why I consider being driven by her an “adventure”.

it is sort of ridiculous that I am a poor grad student who tries to follow a green lifestyle, yet have never taken public transportation to campus. Until today! easy as pie, no parking hassles, and saved money on gas/tolls. what was I afraid of?

my sister is a fashion major, and she asked me to be one of her models for the spring fashion show. I agreed.

The show was tonight. whooooaaa, was I ever out of my comfort zone! but it was definitely an interesting experience! I’ll count it as an adventure =)
