I can be with someone for hours and suddenly wonder to myself, “Have I looked them in the eye even once?” The answer is usually no. And once I start looking them in the eye, I always notice that they are looking me in the eye constantly. Then I get uncomfortable that they had to notice that I HADNT been looking them in the eye. Geez…
