learn to dance like shakira

I was out with some friends I don’t normally go out with, we were dancing in a bar/pub with a dancefloor and DJ. Not my usual music choice but still fun.

People kept asking me, “Do you do belly dancing?” ... “Have you done belly dancing?” ... “Do you do dance lessons?” ... “Are you a dancer?” ... “You’re the best dancer in this whole place”.

Still can’t say I’m dancing like Shakira but, you know, getting there in my own way. Really nice to get so many compliments too.

I was walking along the street one night last week in Barcelona and this man came up to me, grabbed my wrist, and started yelling “Shakira, Shakira!” it was kind of wierd. He was with his girlfriend too, she didn’t seem to care.

I was wearing a long gypsy style skirt and vest top, maybe that’s what did it.

I normally like comparisons to Shakira (even though I look nothing like her) but this was a little wierd – I guess you can’t stop the crazy ones
