Have more "Europe" in my life again

Well things aren’t looking too good with the volcanic ash mess. Was supposed to leave shortly but I doubt I’ll be allowed to fly :o( I had everything planned so well, too :o(

I have my plane tickets and got in touch with almost everyone I plan to visit in Europe this spring. I’m really starting to get excited. The Russian classes are fun.

Talked to a bunch of friends… signing up for Russian classes… planning a trip to visit B. and a few other friends over there later this year. Got my shots, need to look for plane tickets. I’m so excited! A little freaked out, too. It’s been a while since I went on a trip this far away. I’m getting old, LOL

Had a nice dose of Europe yesterday when my friend B. came to visit on his tour across the States. It was so much fun just talking and laughing together :o) I look forward to visiting him, maybe next year!

One of my favorite French singers… and his CD’s have been buried in boxes for ages. It was time to get them back out. Oooh the goosebumps :o)

I do believe JJG’s music is most enjoyable to those who understand the words… though I’m willing to bet there are a few songs that would please even those who don’t understand French (La-bas; On ira; Il suffira d’un signe; Rouge).

Listening 44L now I can still understand why I loved their music back then, though nowadays I find it slightly annoying. I do enjoy the instruments; not so sure anymore about some of what’s sung. Guess I’m getting old ;o)
