I need to change this goal so I am marking it “done” and rewording it. I have come to realize that I can’t actually walk “three times a week” because I lose track of when I went last and how many walks I’ve gone for this week. So I am going to change this to “Go for a walk each day.” Since this is a very flexible goal, I’d like to add that a “walk” for me can be as short as down the street and back, and as long as two hours’ worth of walking in a park or canyon or at the beach. Multiple walks (short or long) are also always an option.
Today I went for a long morning walk and then a nice afternoon walk at the beach. Will walk again before bedtime.
My ankle is doing better so I can walk again. I’m taking it easy, with one or two short walks rather than a long one.
I sprained my ankle this week so no walks for now :o( But I hope to be back on my feet next week.
And barefoot to boot!

I went for a short walk the day before yesterday, another short (but longer) walk yesterday, and a relatively short but 50% uphill walk today. It’s getting to be fun again.

After lots of relatively short walks last week I am starting to toss in a few longer ones. Last night I went to the beach with my friend B. and a friend’s dog. We had fun just strolling along and listening to the surf. The dog enjoyed the car ride, too.
This morning I took the dog on a walk through a lagoon that’s nearby. It was very relaxing (I walked barefoot through the sand) until the mosquitoes and ants started to bug us too much. The dog’s pooped now, but I’m feeling quite energetic.
I’ve had two walks today, and will go for at least two more. :o)

I walked… um, let’s see. Maybe 3 times today, and 4 times yesterday, and twice before that since I made this a goal (about a week ago). So I think I fulfilled my quota for this week :o)
