Nothing to really report on this. My BP has held pretty steady. It’s around the 140s when I’ve been doing moderate exercise (walking), but lowers to the 120-130 range after about 10 minutes of rest.

I haven’t checked my BP all week. I think I’ll have to stop in at the pharmacy today and see where I’m at. I haven’t really made any changes lately, pretty routine, so I expect it to be around 130-135.
Last time I measured it, it was a whopping 148! Sick.
I really don’t know what more I can do about it apart from meds, which I’d prefer to avoid. I’ve lost about 50 pounds in the last year, cut out most of my salt, eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies including bananas, garlic and peppers, cut down on caffeine, don’t drink or smoke, and I walk an hour a day.
I know I need more sleep, and more intense exercise and yoga wouldn’t hurt me either.
I think my average BP is slowly lowering. It’s been fairly consistently between 120 and 130 over 80-90. There have been a few days where it’s been over 140, but most of the time it’s been pretty good.
Not good enough to mark this as done, but getting there.
Haven’t checked my BP in 10 days, and might not get a chance today. No biggie, as I’m sure it hasn’t changed that much over the course of my time off.
Weight loss: good. Blood pressure: not so much. Peaking again around the 140 mark.
Checked twice yesterday: once on my walk home, then later that evening.
First score: 136/86
Second score 117/79!
So it definitely averages higher after I’ve been active.
On the downside, had popcorn last night with a lot of salt and vinegar seasoning on it. I’m generally pretty good with cutting down my salt, but I like my seasoning.
Forgot to check my BP yesterday, since I walked home by a different route that didn’t take me past the pharmacy. Will check it today, though.
