I’ve submitted my doctoral upgrade paper and met with the committee. I haven’t received formal notice yet but looks like I’ve been upgraded to the PhD program. Now on to the chapters.

Went to a conference this weekend and presented a short paper. Nice to meet other folks working on a PhD in the same field. Gave me some confidence and made some contacts.
