Today, I left my name and contact information at Curves and ATC Fitness. I also applied for a job at Domino’s Pizza. wry grin

While none of these actively support my dreams, the priority right now is to have income, any income, coming in. I can’t do much to make my dreams a reality unless I continue to have funds to work with, and my savings are dwindling rapidly.

Massage is NOT one of my dreams; however, it is a marketable, and occasionally profitable, skill I have. At this point, it’s worth putting some effort into building it into something that brings in some money.

In other job-related news:
—I just put several books on blogging on hold at the library. I might be able to do what so many long-term travelers do, and turn my exploits into stories (i.e. passive income mini-streams). I’ve hesitated to look into this before now because, honestly, how many writers does the world really need? But…maybe it’s time to consider it. I might as well use that MFA of mine for something!

—There are several FREE small-business lectures coming up at various venues. I’ll be attending all of these, both to network and to learn better business-building strategies. While I’ve learned from previous attempts to build my own businesses, I also have a strong fear of failure as a consequence of those previous attempts. My ideal scenario is a business that can be managed while I’m in school, and can be sold when I’m ready to relocate to the coast (in preparation for heading out ‘round the world, of course).
