Here’s what Alaska means to me,
Sea lions and hemlock trees.
No worries, no cares,
But do watch out
For those big black bears.
Alaska, Alaska, Alaska.
What does Alaska mean to me?
Puffins, orcas and blueberries.
The finest food and most excellent crew,
Servin’ up some mohito brew.
Alaska, Alaska, Alaska.
What does Alaska mean to me?
Sunshine, mimosas and no room keys,
The laziest sea lions you’ll ever see.
And don’t forget,
Those cute harbor seals,
Or the sounds of bald eagle squeals.
Alaska, Alaska, Alaska.
What does Alaska mean to me?
Blue-ice glaciers, those are key.
And advancing glaciers calving for me.
Wildlife kayaking, killer hikes,
The hurtful pinch of devils club spikes.
Best of all,
See the most whales ever,
Circling ‘round in record-breaking weather.
Alaska, Alaska, Alaska.
And finally,
What does Alaska mean to me?
Tidewater glaciers and alder trees.
Great conversations,
Meeting someone new,
In the end,
I will miss all of you.
Alaska, Alaska, Alaska.
