Peter Pan and Wendy (they count)

The Bell Jar and The Great Gatsby are next. And possibly Dante’s divine comedy.

I want to read the litterary classic works to know the background of the litterature of today – to be able to see the development and evolution of litterature. Examples popping into my head (titles in Danish):
