Pick My Next Career

I am happy to say that in November I applied to a graduate-entry nursing program and a PhD program in Occupational Science. The nursing program is a specialty in midwifery. I am coming along in making my decision as to which will suit me better should I have the good luck as to be accepted to both.

Oh man, I read my last entry and I think… damn those ideas still look cool. But I suck, and immediately want more money than that. I work in a bakery now as a cashier, and its so fun. The other day, I was there, and of course, I was bored, takes a lot to keep my big brain working. And it hit me, I never hated a job before I worked in finance! Feeling my enthusiam for this silly bakery job…made me realize, I like working (Whoa, who just said that?).

Consequently, maybe my decision to avoid working in an office was too reactive to the finance gig… as perhaps, was planning to avoid sales, money, or male-domninated workplaces… perhaps, I just didn’t like real estate/finance?

Because I interviewed for a sales job in education… and a job in non-profit health… and they are both in offices… and I think I would freaking love them both… just like I love my little bakery job… Sorry for all the ellipses, but truly all unfinished thoughts in the Popular brain.

Moving to Philidelphia soon. Looking at grad school programs. Have no idea what to pursue. Well, actually dying to pursue holistic health & physical therapy; possibly occupational therapy. also would like to be a pastry chef or own my own crafting business.
