get a kitten

Its hard to get good pictures with her awake because she doesnt keep still.

I am head over heels in love with this beautiful kitten. Husband named her Sadie. (It makes me think of Wren all the time). She is so cute and playful and a really quick learner. We got her Thursday night, but she acts like she’s been with us all her life.

Husband surprised me telling me he wants to give me a kitten. (I think he is tring to cheer me up as Ive been a bit depressed) He found an ad for kittens free to a good home and now I have to wait till they are 6 weeks old (next week) and then I can go choose one. I sound like a little kid, I know. But I am so excited!!!!

as much as I would love one, this isnt the right time. So Im putting this one on hold. In the meanwhile I may get a pet fish and fatten him up. All ready for when my kitty cat finally comes…

I’ve had 2 cats before, but one died after about 4 years and the other ran off when I was away on holiday (I had people feeding him and everything but I guess he needed more company)Since I’ve been married I havnt had any pets, which is a first for me. I really long for the warm uncomplicated companionship of a cat or dog. Especially since my mom died last week, I need something to love and care for and play with. Theres nothing like the soft warm fur and genly vibrating purr of a kitten. So im hoping that the Universe will send me a friendly kitten (even though husband doesnt like cats much).
