Well, I was doing great, but then I started slackin…
then Easter came and there’s been chocolate everywhere…
So, even though I was done to 156 a couple weeks ago, I weighed myself yesterday and I was back up to almost 160. I need to get back into my 8-minute abs in the mornings and doing cardio at the pool.
I get frustrated because the parts of me that gain weight are the hardest part to tone (inner thigh and below the belly button). But I gotta stick with it. I’m really not that far away from my goal.

At least I think so. I didn’t have a scale at the time I started my diet, but last time I was at the Dr’s I think I weighed in at almost 170. I’m 160 now, and I want to get down to at least 150.
At first I cut out red meat and dairy, and stayed away from beer and sweets as much as possible, and that’s when I think I lost those first 10 pounds. I think part of it is also that I stopped taking birth control, which must have contributed to my puffiness.
I spent all of January being very strict with myself, and I was pretty good in Feb, but I’ve been slacking this month.
Now that my knee is feeling better, I need to get back into the gym. Yoga once a week and 8 minute abs and inner thigh strengthening exercise everyday. And no more sweets and beer…
