Should I just be patient with my lack of progress (as far as repetitions are concerned), and give it a few more days and weeks? Will it just improve if I just keep pushing the way I’ve been, or will I need to experiment with different push ups to be able to get more reps in? Im having a hard time believing I plateaud at less than 10 push ups…

I can do push-ups with my chest touching the floor. Thats a great progress from last year (when I had to stack a cup on top of a book to even be able to touch it with my chest)...my problem now is that I can’t do more than 9 (on a good day). My average is probably about 5…but my best ever with chest grazing the floor is only 9. I havent really improved at all in two weeks and am STARTING to get discouraged…and when I took a day off, it seemed that my body took a step back, so im confused too now…because im afraid to take a day off.
