Last weekend I got my haircut. I decided to try a new layered cut. Well, either I just don’t know how to style it, or it is a really lousy cut. No matter what I’ve tried so far, my hair falls flat and lies close to my head – I look like a drowned rat.
This weekend I’m going to experiment with hair products, a smaller curling iron, and hot rollers to see if I can create a good look.
I’ve had the same wash and curl under bob for years now. And I’ve fallen into the habit of mindlessly brushing on foundation and a bit of lipstick and not even really looking at myself in the mirror. It is time for a change. It’s been some time since I’ve taken any pride in my appearance. I’m not upset with my appearance (except for the bad hair), I just never pay any attention to it. Yep, time for a change.
