stick to a budget

What had always kept my husband and I from getting on a budget was 1)we’re never together for very long (he has a job that requires him to travel regularly and for training plus he is in the national guard) and 2) we spend more money seperately than we do together (no joint trips to the grocery store, etc.). We found a website called mvelopes.com that lets you budget/track/spend electronically. Its great. We can spend in any form and allocate to any of the envelopes we have designated for certain categories of spending (groceries, gas, etc.). Helps us keep track on how much we spend and where.
