I’ve been thinking a lot about procrastination lately. Why I do it, how it affects me etc. In certain areas, I procrastinate because I’m so tired, that I’m not able to do something. This is a frequent occurrence with exercise – I procrastinate going to bed, then I’m way too tired the next day to exercise. With meals, I sometimes procrastinate in starting cooking, then I get way too hungry, then I overeat. These are the areas of procrastination that affect me the most, so that’s where I’m going to focus my energy. As for the other bits of procrastination, I’m going to let it slide. After all, isn’t a certain amount of procrastination just human nature? We’re not robots, we’re human beings with preferences and emotions!
So from now on, I’ll try to go to bed/get up on time, and eat meals on time. Wish me luck!
