Suddenly important 3 years ago

I’ve been wanting to learn Cantonese for about 2 years, ever since I married a Chinese woman. It always got shoved to the back though, other things took precedence.

This morning there was a bit of drama, one of my wife’s cousins was in a car accident. Knowing a bit of Cantonese would have really helped me, as most of my wife’s relatives don’t speak any English. I think it’s time to get moving on this one!
