- Get rid of rough dry skin patches (which of course are made worse by biting them, but it’s so hard to stop)
- Have something to chew on
Aspect #2 would be so much easier to quit if I liked chewing gum! But I’ve always found it gross… Strange that somehow biting myself is less gross to me than chewing synthetic chemical rubber. Addictions are weird.
I did pretty well yesterday though.
A mini-goal: I’d like my fingers to be mostly healed by Memorial Day weekend, when I’ll be spending the weekend waterskiing. It’ll be much more pleasant if my fingers don’t hurt!
I’m thankful that they’re not too bad, especially compared to many of the photos everyone else showed.
