yay! I’m so glad the post-it is working for everyone! We should market pre-printed ones that have all kinds of posture cues on them, like one of those daily calenders.
Today is my last day at work, so I need to remember to make a new post-it for my laptop at home. Not sure where I’ll be able to stick it though!
So I am getting better about this. I think about it more frequently, and catch myself slouching sooner. Trying to keep my head up, but with my chin still tucked when I walk around. Hard, i’m so used to looking at my feet. Also, my lower back curves out too much i think, maybe from my tummy pulling forward? trying to fix that, but it’s kinda difficult!
I have been working on this and it is very very slowly getting better. Something I realized today is that I have a tendency to both slouch and then tip my chin up because I am so short. It looks….it looks really terrible, like I am some chinless gaping toad thing. Awesome. But if I tuck my chin in and stand up straight I look lovely. So 2 things to remember right now: Stand/Sit up straight, chin tucked and look up with eyes only!
