settled in

the new handwriting has settled in, and it’s looking not too bad – I’m happy with the changes. I’ll probably review it again some time next year.

journaling

starting journaling again. Ha. I’m so glad I don’t do cursive p’s and s’s any more.

still settling in

it’s slowly, slowly getting better. I’m happy with the actual letters and the direction it’s going. Everything starts to look more regular, and as if it’s a properly designed font.

messy again

One of my things on the to-do-list that kept falling off was to write more – start journaling again or something – to let my new handwriting settle in. I never got around to it, so it’s all messy again. I need to write for a few months, then go back and look at my handwriting again to see what could be tweaked.

Untitled

The advantage to improving your handwriting when you’re over 40 is that nobody else will be able to read all the things you scribbled when you were young and stupid.

continuing to settle in.

Gradually my redesigned handwriting is getting better. Sometimes it’s still a horrible mess, but other times I think – gosh, that’s neat, and what a nice font – did I really write that? Still much more practice needed.

not neat yet, but much nicer

It will take a while for these new changes to settle in, but my writing is looking much better now that I’ve got rid of those awful cursive p’s & s’s, and changed a few other letters to match. My handwriting is now just as fast, a little more legible, and looks as if I enjoyed writing it. I’d call this thing done.

cursive p

looking over old stuff I’ve written – cursive p is so stupid. I’m glad I replaced it.

settling in

Those last few changes are starting to settle in. My writing still looks messy, but it’s much more regular, legible and attractive than it was. No more cursive s. yay.

settling required

have been using a typed work journal, so writing less. the writing has got messy since recent changes. I need to write a few pages to see what needs tweaking next.
