get a new pair of glasses.

i’ve had disposable contact lenses for so long, i don’t know if i can make the transition back to glasses again. if i wear them too long they leave odd marks here and there on my face and then i look strange without them. that’s when they become a kind of linus’ blanket and i feel naked if i take them off—in the same way that i used to feel naked when i wore make-up all the time and then abrubtly went without it.

i like the idea of running around looking like a sexy librarian, though. and i like the idea of having more than one pair to change up the way that i look.
