find 43 bugs in 43 things

when i look at my own “profile” or “people” view – i notice that first my location and “change your profile, picture, etc” show up – but then the gray shading covers it up.

this is under IE 6 with XP sp2.

(i’m sure this is just because they’re re-arranging some things…)

to be less specific to amazon… it seems that there is a bug in the link handling parser when a url has a dash in it.

if i take a link out of context, it seems fine – but it doesn’t seem to autolink as i would expect.

e.g.
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0812505182/

however a link in the context of a paragraph doesn’t seem to work..

(why not support normal html markup for links?)
