get a driving license

The 19th is the date for this to be achieved. My driving test is then. This means I’m going to have four hours of lessons a week. This plus nagging my dad to get me on the road. Finally going to get this.

I’m really frustrated with the pace my driving lessons/test have been going. I’m doing everything I can to make it work now. There should be no excuses, I have just over a week to brush up my skills and get it. It doesn’t help that my dad chooses to use driving lessons as a great time to have intense debates and his own neglect of the car, for which I am upbraided. The way I see it is I can watch Tony’s DVDs/software and re-read the high way code. Thank god there isn’t much work coming in now. I need my dad to thrash it out with my everyday to overcome my latent fear of the dread duel carriage way and that other random place he takes me. All these things will help me. I will get it.

definitely much closer to this aim! I’d say 95% there. all thats needed now is practice reverse parking and the roundabouts on dual carriage way. This is made a lot harder by my dad becoming reliant on our car for his own devices.

Today Dora said I had my best lesson ever, now I need to get my dad to sort out the insurance so I can take out my car and practice more.

This is going great because in two weeks theoretically, I can have my mock test. Although my instructor will be taking a holiday next week! Can’t wait to be done with this..

This is looking good, I’ve finally started working on my sister’s CD-rom, so I’m hoping to have nailed this by the end of the week. And about time too, I say.
