Fried Plantain + Sauce:
Everyone thought this dish was absolutely amazing. I added some chinese hot sauce. Ever since then, I have been adding spicy to all of my dishes!
Spaghetti Squash:
Amazing. I’m never eating pasta again. Why do that when you can eat a NUTRITIOUS, LIVING vegetable based version of it that is just as delicious??
Hot Wings:
This was a bit of a fail. I went to Whole Foods to get the most ethical chickens I could find and I dipped them in organic hot sauce + apple cider vinegar. Baked for about 20 minutes. The chickens came out DELICIOUS smooth and tender, but the flavour was not lasting. A boy later told me I should have marinated them for some time first. He wants to cook with me some other time.
GREENS + HOT CHILIOMG, I usually do not care to eat greens, but when I saute’ed them with hot chili diced, it was like a new world. I am adding pepper/chilli to everything!

Since I am such a lazy person, I am saving up for a slow cooker. I just need to find some vegetarian and gluten-free recipes to make with it.

Mmm! This is delicious. I put some coconut oil on the pan, add the eggs and start frying a bit, then I add the salsa!
The salsa was store bought. Imagine how good it would be with fresh, handmade ingredients!!
I added a few vegetables because I put too much salt.
PROBLEM: I want to figure out how to add salt and distribute it evenly through out the food.

I didn’t cook because I was tired then someone brought me delicious food. I probably won’t cook tomorrow, either. There’s just already so much food. However, I will get on it the day after.
P.S. I am buying a new camera so I will have beautiful photos to go along with me dishes.
P.S.S. For inspiration, I am reading Julie & Julia :)

I am absolutely done with eating out. I realized that I spend probably $50+ a week eating out when I have food at home or I can buy groceries for $30 that will make meals that last the whole week or longer.
Granted, I live with my parents. That’s even better. I want to learn money management skills so when I move out, I will be able to really handle myself.
I bought a great lunch bag that keeps my food nice and refrigerated for most of the day. Until about 6pm at which point, I usually have access to a fridge or have eaten the food and going home soon. I also bought pyrex glass containers so that I can safely microwave my food without any chemicals entering the food or misshaping my containers.
It does take more time because I have to clean out my containers and box after eating, but it’s worth it to save money and also enjoy my meal more.
My issue is now that I want to have gourmet tasting food for lunch, not just leftovers or a sandwich. I am starting one recipe at a time. Each night, I will cook one new recipe and have it for my lunch.
