go fishing

Well, I DID it. I caught a lot of nothing, except for when I caught a bramble of seaweed and sticks, which was awesome and exciting. I did enjoy casting though, and overall found the expereince very cool. I’d like to try it again sometime! :) I’m kind of relieved that I didn’t catch anything though, since I don’t know what I would’ve done, and probably would’ve cried (my former inner vegan rearing it’s head)

I’ve never been, nor really had the desire to go. I recently found out that our annual family camping trip will actually be in a beach house on devil’s lake this August, and I will get the chance to go fishing!!!

Grandfather-in-law: “You just need to get a license.”
Me: “Do I have to pass a test?”
