Read all the books on the BBC Big Read Top 100

Just finished 100 Years of Solitude… on to Persuasion!

I’m half way through Treasure Island. I went back over my list and realized I’d missed two books I have in fact read. My next 5 to read will be:

to Kill A Mockingbird
Winnie the Pooh
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Persuasion

=D it’d be really awesome if I can finish this by the end of the year. We’ll see though, lol… that’s a lot of books to read.

OK, so I added it up, and I’ve read 15. 85 more to go!

...after Bonfire of the Vanities and the Dark Tower series my friend wants me to read, lol. It’ll be slow, but steady progress! I bet this will take me a year or so. Ha, maybe more. But it will be done, oh yes!

I love reading. Have a life-long passion for it, despite my upraising – mainly I watched a lot of TV, R movies, and was left to my own devices. Even then I read a lot though.

I don’t think a teacher can be a teacher without loving books, really.

Anyway, this is a great list. I think it’s rather Western-centric, but that’s fine I guess. I’ve read some already, and know I need to reread at least one (Catcher in the Rye) because I was too young to fully comprehend it.

Unfortunately, I’m loling… I’m just starting Bonfire of the Vanities. Not on the list, ha. After though, I’ll get to business!!!
