backpack through Europe

I have recently re-dedicated myself to this goal – along with re-prioritizing my life in general (ie focusing less on the having a baby goal and more on the working-on-myself ones!), and here is my new travel plan:

2012 – See Europe (Spring)
2012 – Jamaica (November for my 30th birthday)

2014 – Africa (Kenya & Egypt)

2016 – Israel

2018 – India & China (Hong Kong most likely)

Then, after that, maybe I’ll settle down and pop out a kid. Maybe… ;)

I would like to visit South America at least once. We can’t decide where though – I’d like to go to Argentina. Aaron wants to go to Chile. Guess we have a while to make up our minds!

Try as I might, I just am NOT called to visit Australia. At all. :( I can’t think of anything I’d really like to see there. Maybe I’ll change my mind, we’ll see…

I inherit the funds to pull this off in 11 months. Airfare and trains and what not. God I hope I have the courage to do this one!

A good, time-tested, cheap way to see a lot of the continent. Tentative trip sometime during spring of 2008.
