Awhile ago I installed Ruby on Rails and MySQL on my computer. I caught up on my Ruby knowledge a bit and followed some tutorials. It went alright. Also, I switched webhosts last week, and my new host supports Ruby on Rails, which is excellent. My aim is to create my own sort of mini-CMS, like a todo list/planner/organizer/journal hybrid, with really simple features. Well, we’ll see.

I read Part One of Rolling with Ruby on Rails, and it was pretty interesting. I don’t think just reading it counted for much because I didn’t install it on my computer and try it out hands-on.
