buy a house or apartment

Im starting to think about location. norah head looks like a nice community..it has a light house, a look out and it get whales and sea lions.. i cant help but think i want to be not too far from sydney, newcastle and the central coast as my future career will probably cover all these areas to some extent..as well as the hunter valley!

Ill have to keep looking i want somewhere with a good school too for when i have kids.

I also decided i want a magnoolia tree…this means the colour scheme for the garden will probaly have to change to pinks, purples, whites and greys..a colour scheme im more than happy with.

I visualize my house often, almost every day.. I don’t think I’ll have an apartment unless it has loads of character & at very least a court yard!

My house is a white clad 3 bedroom cottage. It has a white picket fence. A lemon tree & purple, yellow & white flowers in the garden. Inside the walls are white..this is because I love art & furniture & I also love change..white walls look great.

The floor boards are polished…I haven’t decided if they will be a traditional colour or a darker brown.

There is a fireplace in the living room..so it is inviting in the winter & yet the kitchen will flow onto the back deck separated by bifold doors with plantation shutters.. To truely take advantage of the great outdoor living in Australia’s spring & summer.

The back yard will have a partially covered back deck, lots of green grass for the kids to run on, a hammock between the trees, and a little artist studio with lots of natural light which opens to the side of the house so it can also be used as a gallery of sorts for my art work.

The garden would also include a circular meditation space with a mosaic mandala & a tree house for the kids.

I’m setting the wheels in motion.. When my lease expires i will be moving back home with my mum and my brother, there is only one reason for this, sweet money. i plan on getting my license buying a car, paying off loans, going on holiday and saving a deposit for a house so that i can buy in the buyers market. pity the interest rate is SOO high
