I will be teaching 6th grade math, and I cannot wait. Of course, math isn’t MY favorite subject (actually it is my least favorite), but hopefully I can make it fun for them and teach it in a way that doesn’t make them feel the way I feel about it now.
Yay! I get to work because I like, no LOVE to, ...not because I have to.
Check.

I graduated.
I thought I was going to pass out in the floor…but I didn’t…I just walked, shook some hands, made a b-line for my chair, and I’m guessing it will slowly sink in within the next few months…as I begin to teach…weird.
I graduate next Saturday!!!—with honors, a 3.9, and the satisfaction of knowing that I did it on my own (with the help of God). :)
no parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents … have ever graduated from college…
I’m the first.
Well I graduate in May with my teaching degree. I have no ties to Tennessee; I just want to be happy. I want to live in a place with beautiful scenery, fun city life, hot summers, snowy winters, and good pay.
Am I asking too much? Is there such a place?
I’m very open to new ideas so any thoughts/opinions would be greatly appreciated…
I CANNOT wait to be a teacher. I literally cry when I see kids laughing or playing, or just being kids (tears of joy people). It is such a calming and amazing feeling when you figure out what your purpose in this life is for. Unfortunately, I am a dork…therefore I also love learning….so I will be in school for another 2 semesters plus student teaching (way overdue)...because I took classes just because I felt like it…black and white photography…loved it…International relations…great…cultural anthropology…yay people. Actually I’m procrastinating as we speak….I need to study for finals and finish some final projects…yeah…I uh love school…yeah.
