It feels absolutely fantastic when the number to the left of the comma gets lower. I’m feeling a bit euphoric because I finally broke the $4,000 mark. I’ve been stuck in the $4,000’s for almost a year and a half, because money’s been tight and I couldn’t pay much more than the minimum most months. This month I was starting to obsess so much about dipping below $4,000 that I just had to grit my teeth and pay a bunch extra on some of my cards.

improve my work life balance
If I can only stay put... 4 days ago

Well, I’ve relocated to my third store in one month… as soon as I just start getting to know what the general routine is, I get moved. At my last store, I didn’t even have time to meet everyone before I was whisked away to work at another location! I’m thinking that I just may be able to stay at the store I’m at for the time being. It’s been extremely stressful, but I’m happy about a couple of things… the people at the stores that I’ve had to leave didn’t want me to leave, even after only working with me for a couple weeks (made me feel good!) and I’ve also learned that I’m more flexible than I thought I was, with being able to just up and switch stores like that while being able to maintain the quality of work that I’m used to.
