I’ll miss
the smell of the Blommer Chocolate Company,
the rough sets of tracks precisely 10 seconds apart between Des Plains and Cumberland,
the feeling you get crossing the pedway with hundreds of other people whose pace accelerates with the declining slope of the tile to ram your way through the revolving doors out into the morning air,
and monday nights.
but I won’t miss commuting.

we all got our own problems. perhaps this one’s so appealing because of it’s ambiguity. but maybe it’s just appealing because it’s accurate.

There are times that one realizes that they’re committing a crime. Not in any legal sense, but against all that is truly mankind. To err in the face thereof all those who may have counted on you.
And once again I find myself another year older than the fate I should not have escaped.
For those brothers I have failed, I owe you my deepest apologies, but there is little else left I can think to say.

I heard somewhere that the third day is always the hardest, and after you get through that, you’re in the clear. We shall see if this is true.

exercise helps. gets my mind thinking of other things.
Lifted today and I gotta say that helped a lot, although I only did one set. Hopefully if I need to later on, I’ll just do another set or two. If things really get bad, I’ll run a lap.
