i still have the north side of my front yard to landscape but i did receive one of my finishing touches for the front yard today. clive, the name of my garden gnome, arrived today from ebay.

cold this weekend and therefore not been able to work on the landscaping any. this is a photo of what it looks like.

landscaping the yard is about a four step process for us: 1) prep work on the beds, 2)first purchase of plants, 3)second purchase of plants, 4)mulching and final details. we have completeled the first two steps.

the day moving the top soil from the large pile of dirt to our flower beds. my arms and back are sore and there is still work to be done tomorrow.

the top soil today. it will be here thursday and then i can start working on the beds.
