i picked up and scanned the photos from my first 120 challenge. all of them stink. i found that i was much more rushed than i thought i would be. thus i didn’t take the time to use my light meter and set the exposure properly. i’m very disappointed with the photos. i’ll just have to try again.
i took my film into kadair’s to be processed. they said it might be ready tomorrow. it’s usually a one hour turn around on color processing of 120 film but they have been saying two days during the CHRISTmas season.
adam, my 11 year old, and i went out tonight to take the photos for the 120 challenge. using a very manual camera, a lubitel 166b) the whole process turned out to be very difficult. i didn’t have time to take light readings and really set up everything properly and thus we drove from spot to spot and took our photos as quickly as possible. i double exposed two shots (thus reducing my number down to 10) in the hurry of the moment. next month i will plan my shots before the day for the challenge actually arrives.
i’ll post my photos next week after they have been processed.

basically the 120 challenge is to take 120 medium format photos within 120 minutes on a selected theme on the first saturday of the new month. this month’s theme is “holiday” and it happens this saturday.
